I spent all my money at the cider bus.

(one of my favourite sets, it turned me into a big Editors fan)

Off we go! I've been looking forward to this day since I managed to get tickets in October. Having been twice before I'm ready to go again. Bags are packed, welly boots are on my feet and I've optimistically packed my sun cream (we can hope right?!). I'm looking forward to a long break in a big huge field(s), with lots of music and no phone or internet. See you all next week...

test run.

This weekend, Alex and I got the final pieces for our Glastonbury trip. We are so excited, it's come around so quickly. I remember the angst, frustration and then excitement as we tried and got our tickets. I think we finally have everything, but then again how can you prepare when one weather forecast says rain and the other says sun? I'm packing all that I can into my tiny rucksack.

We even practiced putting our tent up.

Alex went for the trend of print clashing. We then realised how many things we both own which has animal shaped prints all over it (the only thing he was missing was my dog blazer).

my week, according to the photos i've taken.

This week saw me racing around London for work and then having some major love for the weekend. I love having weekends off, this week we had a pub lunch and then a mini cheese party at our house as we got the munchies when our friend came round. This week is all about having just 2 days at work, a dinner with friends and then Glastonbury.

coffee dates.

Okay so maybe it's tea or some kind of fruity drink but still they're dates in my favourite places and better yet Alex keeps treating me and taking me to them!
With a coffee shop just opened up just underneath us this could spell trouble, especially in the winter months when their shops will no doubt be warmer than our flat and will be selling tea and soup. Yes...I'm thinking of winter already. What can I say?! I love that season.

Sunday Funday

We watched: Buffy.
We ate: paninis.
We strolled: around Richmond.
We imagined: spending our money on lots of nice and new things.
It reaffirmed: that we both need to have our weekends off together.

finally...

I joined the library! I think it was on my weekly wishes for weeks but I finally got there and I'm so glad I did (any reading suggestions-pass them my way). It's helping me cross off a couple of things of my 22 before 23 list and deep down I really am a bookworm.

my weeks(s), according to the photos i've taken.

Dates. Old jobs, new jobs. Baking. Reading, and getting ready for Glastonbury. Everything that I love all in the past two weeks, lucky me!

glastonbury wishlist.

1. Polka dot mac. || 2. tent. || 3. asos stripe top. || 4. h&m dress. || 5. nail rock wraps.

Usually I have a whole heap of clothes in wardrobe reading for Glastonbury, but seeing as I haven't gone in 2/3 years and always clearing out my wardrobe there isn't much left. I'm sure I can scramble some stuff together and maybe add the above in and I'll be ready to dance in my welly boots along with everyone else.

goings on.

(image via media-cache)

This week I've:

# been squashed on the tube.
# been amazed at getting seats (yes, multiple) on the tube at home time.
# cabbed it from one side of London to the other.
# eaten so much mozzarella.
# arranged to meet up with a friend.
# loved getting into bed at the end of the day.

needs must.

4. essie in bordeaux. || 5. to do list.

Goodness me I want all these things. That Closet dress has pockets! It may be one of the nicest dresses I've seen in a while and the pockets make it that little bit more casual. And the playsuit, well I thinking more and more that it may be a payday treat. It looks so nice and something that can be dressed up/down and worn in summer and winter. I'm not sure how many more essie nail varnishes I need but one more can't hurt right?! And that organiser is so cute and would save me many pieces of paper that I usually have floating around our house!
